The theme for the 2015 is “IN HARMONY WITH NATURE”. Please select from one of the 4 categories; earth, water, atmosphere and life, in which to develop your garment entries. On the Garment Entry Form, please identify your inspiration. The fifth category is accessories (a fashion accessory is an item which is used as a compliment to an outfit. A home accessory is a moveable decoration). Those of you that don’t sew garments might express your creativity in this category.
The 2015 Challenge will be an eco-dyed accessory. Only 1 challenge entry per FASA member, not open to non-members. This includes all natural dyes (chemical free) and natural fabrics. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_dye
All entries to the show must be available for sale. Prices will be in $10 increments. This helps with tallying sales totals & sales tax on the day of the show. Then determining the sale price, please note FASA receives 25% commission of the sales price. If an entry sells, a check will be issued within 30 days to the artist and mailed to the address provided on the entry form.

- Artists may enter a maximum of 10 entries. The Challenge garment will count as one of the 10. Collaboration with another artist will count as 1 entry for each person involved in the collaboration. An ensemble will count as 1 entry – IF pieces are to be sold individually enter each piece on a spate entry form. For example – a 3 piece ensemble would be listed in the following manner with each piece having a separate price: First piece 1a; Second piece 1b; Third piece 1c.
- Each entry item should be unique in design, style and color from other entries being submitted. Remember this is a fashion show – very much like a GALLERY SHOW – you would not submit 2 similar pieces – the same is true for the Fashion Show. If your basic garment is readymade, it must be enhanced in such a manner as to create a new unique design of wearable art using Fiber Art design techniques.
