Officers’ Reports
Programs – Sylvia Sarinana stated there was nothing to report at this time.
Annual Show – Yvette Little reported the event will be held at The Frost Bank Plaza Club, opening November 16th and continuing until mid- January. There will be hors d’oeuvres provided by the bank and a cash bar. Artist commission will be 75%, with 25% going to FASA. The juror will be Mary Heathcott, Executive Director of Blue Star.
Fashion Show– Dian Lamb reported posters and invitations are available for members to distribute to the public. She thanked people who made leaves for table decorations. The paperwork for entries for the show is due by midnight tonight. Labels are available for each entry. Those with multiple pieces need a separate label for each item. Those wishing to make their own labels may do so. Each label must include artist’s name, title of entry, size, and price and is to be affixed by thread to the inside center back of each piece. Shuttles will transport attendees to and from the event, leaving every 15 minutes.
Sylvia Sarinana is handling ticket sales. She requests all correspondence be sent to her at: 3459 Monterrey Oak, San Antonio, TX 78230 (rather than her P.O. Box.).
