Reviews & P.U.s Vogue 1454

FASA Annoucements, Featured, Pattern ReviewBy Gordon AtkinsonSeptember 6, 2015

By Caryl Gaubatz Vogue 1454 is an over sized top with an interesting back flounce. It is super simple to sew: you can easily  make it in one day . The sample shown is made of cotton poplin as recommended by the designer.

Folkwear Pattern 142 – Old Mexican Dress

FASA Annoucements, Featured, Pattern ReviewBy Gordon AtkinsonJune 26, 2015

Reviews and P.U.’s Folkwear Pattern  #142 “Old Mexican Dress” is a simple to sew project that would be perfect to make up for San Antonio summers or as your Fiesta uniform. The timing of the 2016 FASA Fashion Show makes this a perfect garment to showcase on the runway.
