Newsy: Fiber fundraiser to fight cancer
Both Susie Monday and Leslie Jenison are two of the 100 honored artists, selected to participate in a fundraiser for cancer research and education support organized by Virginia Spiegel. 100 artists have donated art quilts that will be randomly matched with donors of a minimum of $100 through this campaign.
Mark your calendars so you don’t miss the “100 Fundraiser to Fight Cancer” event – Feb 4, 2015 -Beginning at 10 a.m. Central donors will be given a link to donate $100 directly to the American Cancer Society through Fiberart For A Cause. Sponsored by generous fiber artist, Virginia Spiegel.
The first 100 patrons to donate $100 to benefit the American Cancer Society via this one day fundraiser will receive an art quilt.
Each donor will receive an artwork from one of the 100 generous and talented artists listed below. Assignments of artwork will be made using a random number generator by someone other than me. Artwork will not be shared here in advance, but may appear on artists’ websites or other social media before the event. See also our Pinterest board (Thanks to Deborah Boschert).
