Greetings Y’all!
Some days we question if our organization is having an impact on our community. Each year we grant scholarships to three non-profit institutions to aide in the promotion of fiber arts.
A thank you letter from SAY Si and a thank you email from the Southwest School of Arts state otherwise.
In part, Jon Hinojosa, the SAY Si Artistic, Executive Director states:
“Every gift reaches beyond SAY Si’s doors and into the community because Art is a Gift for All.”
Southwest School of Arts Fiber Program Coordinator, Casey Galloway writes:
“…… Without your donations, many eager students would not have the ability to experience fiber in its infinite possibilities. It is always a joyful experience to witness the work and growth of scholarship students. I also want to thank you for the continued engagement in our fiber workshop offerings, ideas for visiting artists, and collaborations. It is amazing to have such a supportive community behind what we are offering. “
Our organization grants scholarships to institutions to help lift future fiber artists. Our donations, our membership dues, our fundraising help to develop and promote future fiber artists.
From me personally, I say thanks to each of you. As elders of this fiber artist village, I know we take seriously our duty and efforts to reach out and promote our future fiber artists.
Until next time……
