Jane Dunnewold
Jane will present a lecture based on ideas in her book: Creative Strength Training: Prompts, Exercises and Stories to Encourage Artistic Genius.
LOCATION & TIME
Meeting Time: 10:00 AM, Monday, January 9th 2017
San Antonio Garden Center
3310 N. New Braunfels Avenue, SAT 78209
Come at 9:30 for refreshments and creative networking!
These are a few of the topics to be discussed:
- Defining creative stamina
- Cultivating the inner Rebel Artist
- Dismantling the Committee
- What makes work distinctive
- What is alignment and how do we find it
- Discovering grace through acts of making
These are thought-provoking strategies, as comments from participants in the online class attest:
Is anyone else feeling the cumulative impact of AST? It’s like a deep tissue massage every week where the benefit last longer than the actual massage? Sublime, stretched, occasionally an “ouch factor” or a “wince” but knowing and trusting in the greater benefit for the experience.” Ali George
Jane’s the only person who’s been able to explain to me the value of journaling. It goes far beyond venting and documenting, but is also a way to find our deepest thoughts, beyond the first strokes of the pen. Journaling releases the children and grandchildren of our thoughts.” Martha Tabis
And they’re even more fun to discuss in person.
