This February meeting we will have Dian Lamb for a lecture and workshop. Dian’s has attended art school, worked as an advertising layout artist for a local newspaper, married, had four children and ended up living in Hawaii…
Living amidst the beauty of the islands, the gracious local people and the wonderful mix of cultures Dian was inspired to further her education in creativity….Dian was hired by Bernina and taught sewing for thirty years giving her an opportunity to participate with women’s groups, quilt guilds, schools and universities….Dian’s education was expanded through travel and give her the privilege to meet and take classes from John Marshal, Sandra Betzina, Lois Erikson , Ami Simms and many other great designers…..Dian’s approach to teaching is having fun while nurturing the students creativity…Using the sewing machine as an art tool, emphasis is placed on making every project as unique as the individual…So please come and join FASA for her lecture and workshop….
