Entry Statement: Artwork has been my connection to myself as well as others. I have continued to take small workshops to continue to socialize and get my dose of “art Therapy”. We have all had a trying year, and along with nature study, walks, and socially distant visits with friends, art has helped me get through the year. The combination of drawing with color and the addition of embellishments, beads, nature charms, shells, and the connecting “thread” of hope represents surviving 2020.
