2020 – I enjoy many forms of fiber art creation including but not limited to felting, knitting, crochet and embroidery. I use materials found, repurposed, recycled or purchased.
Wire ribs attached to the back enable the piece to be displayed hanging from the wall or resting on the custom-made stand.

Entry Statement: This cabbage leaf was inspired by material designed by Kaffe Fassett, and a cabbage from my garden. It was part of a series made for table decorations for the 2020 FASA spring show. Made from alpaca and wool fibers with yarns that were wet felted and dried on a form.
Working on projects during Covid times has helped to keep me sane.
