2020 – Various hand dyed techniques including rust & indigo were used in my collages. Hand stitching, embroidery floss and fiber adhesives were also employed and each assembly was mounted on blue plexi-glass for a floating frameless effect.

Entry Statement: Abstract landscape scenes inspired by the view out my window during Covid weekend escapes to the Texas Hill Country along with a memorable trip across the globe back when we could travel without fear of catching a deadly virus. Varying textures are connected by threads much like our memories during this messy and confining pandemic.
