2020 – Various hand dyed techniques including rust & indigo were used in my collages. Hand stitching, embroidery floss and fiber adhesives were also employed and each assembly was mounted on blue plexi-glass for a floating frameless effect.

Entry Statement: My emotional and physical response to a memory of a trip to Japan the summer before the Pandemic. Beautiful manicured rock gardens and rain chains that embrace peaceful flowing water and the changes of the four seasons are represented in this collage.
